The CHW training program provides 140+ hours of instruction, cover core competencies and health topics. Graduates earn a CHW certificate, 12 college credits, and can pursue an additional certificate from Chabot College. Apprentices gain up to 2,00 hours of hands-on experience. This pre-apprenticeship and apprenticeship program is designed to help you earn your CHW certification and launch your healthcare career while gaining hands-on experience and essential skills in patient advocacy, chronic disease management, and more.
